I'm almost tempted to check the Pravda commentary and hear how Jack Woodward and Andy Blair or whoever else is with him, are spinning this one.

The players are only really playing for pride...

and what pride have they got? Most of the fuckers will be on a plane somewhere in 24 hours and don't want to be injured.

Once again Garth Crooks shows he knows fuck all about football. Main reason we've struggled this season is because of Bent getting injured. Apparently.

Shows what Crooks knows. If Bent had been fit we could have scored, say, four or five more goals.

It's all very clever by Randy really. Mcleish was all about curbing our expectations. I'm fairly sure most would accept almost anything after this disaster of a season.

Thats actually a business strategy for changing culture...

You change the working environment rapidly and aggressively, significantly past where you want the culture to sit so the people do not like the working environment...

You then loosen the rules so you are in the culture you want... people forget about the good old days, and dont realise they are in a different space to before as they are just glad to be out of the nightmare!!!

maybe randy "the business man" lerner is applying the same theories to us! ha

Owen IUD must've sold his soul to the good luck fairy, both their goals were huge flukes according to R5!

I really hope Gabby leaves this season i'd take someone like Jackson/Best/Campbell  over him anyday.

He would play well under Lambert or almost any other managers he's good when the tactics are to stretch teams. With the defensive tactics deployed by McCleish we never get that!
I actually don't see the three mentioned as any better; but he has had a poor season.

Change is good plus they can't be any worse than he is. That's how i look at it.

Ball passed to Warnock, bounces off him as if he's been cryogenically frozen
