So, as of today per an unexpected phone call, I've been faced with a tough decision. My closest friend is a Blue Nose, and we have gradually developed a tradition where for Birthdays/Christmas etc. We take the other one to a game, so I take him down the Villa a couple of times a year and he takes me to the Sty. So for Christmas this year I took him to the Everton game at Villa Park, and for my Birthday he took me to Blues - Millwall (great choice, almost got into some trouble).Anyways, he calls me today to inform me that he has been left with a spare ticket for the play-off second leg against Blackpool this wednesday, and wants to take me along.Do I take this ticket? I have untill I have tonight to decide. On one hand, I might get the chance to be amongst 30,000 depressed 'Noses, but on the other I might have to bear the agony of them winning. What do I do?

Enlighten me to a differing experience as you are a man of a few years and will undoubtedly have witnessed the politeness of the knuckle dragging animals that club spawns?I've known, and know, a good few Blues supporters, none of whom would dream of attacking anyone - much like the vast majority of football supporters. I appreciate that they have a higher than normal percentage of antisocial elements among their support but to say they are all the same is to draw the same conclusions as non-football people used to think about us all. If one of your family was taken seriously ill and a Blues-supporting doctor was on hand, what would your reaction be - that they were going to be attacked, or that their life would be saved?

Saying that you could not go to St. Andrews to watch a match with a Blues supporting mate tells me all I need to know really. Why not? I know the answer but for the audience, why not?

Sitting amongst the animals who glory in attacking anything, I mean anything, associated with Aston Villa is beyond my realms.Tell him to use his extra finger to find someone else. Definitely not a wind up, I've gone plenty of times with him in the past. It's just the fact that this is such a big game, I don't think I could hold in my emotions.
