Yeah I've got to admit I tell doors to fuck off when I've stubbed my toe.

I once told a wall it was a fence and then legged it. Stupid bloody wall.

For once mcleish is spot on with his comments!
Maybe, but a bit of Pot & Kettle comes to mind here but for different reasons and on a grander scale.

Is it not bleeding possible in one fucking thread not to bash the bloke? This has nothing at all to do with him. He has said exactly the right thing, and it is what all of us are thinking. If you want to beat the bloke up, and we've pretty much all had a go recently then there are 500 other threads to do it.
My last say on this then. 1/ His comment has everything to do with him. 2/ As I said earlier his comment could have been "It has been dealt with internally, the players fined and the money donated to charity". 3/ Not everyone is thinking like you as I for one am not.
The players are bang out of order and have embarressed themselves and the club. Apologies have been made and hopefully we can all move on. If the club decided to move the players on then fine. The sooner this sorry season is over the better and fingers crossed on to bigger and better things next year. If that comment had come from Aston Villa, Graham Taylor, Gordon Cowans, Ian Taylor or the like I could have accepted it.

Collins has previous. He's also 30 years old, and old pro, an international captain. He's also shite and a waste of space. Get rid.

Herd. Smacky bum time.

Delph. As above, though I'd get rid because he's shite.

This is the bloody last thing we needed to happen before going into the penultimate wknd of the season, staring relegation in the mug. None of those players should have been out clubbing. It's a disgrace and a mockery. No it's not McLeishs fault, but it's symptomatic of his leaderships. Some players who couldn't get by under Houlliers strict regime, are having an easy time of it and loving it seemingly. I think he's too easy on them and it's in part why most of the players seem to like him.

What a chuffing mess.

This and I'm disgusted by it.

Collins I am particularly disgusted with. He has previous.
If some of these overpaid so called professionals had an inkling of just how much we love our club, how much we care about the future of our club, how much we are concerned about the very real predicament our club is in at present, how much we have been worried about being relegated in recent weeks, how much we still worry about still being on the precipice - then they would not be going within a country mile of any pub or club during the week before our final home game of the season. At any time of the evening, let alone 3 in the morning !

What sort of  idiot kicks a door and tells it to fuck off?

Jim Morrisons wife?

Jim Morrison never formally married Pamela Courson, even though he bequeathed his entire estate to her, and thus never had a wife.  ;)

Shame on the fucking board I say, primarily for bottling it when Houllier had marked the cards of the club's indisciplined arseholes.

Rather than sort this shit out, they opted to take the cheap option and give them another chance, and employ McLeish to try and molly-coddle some performances out them.

What a pile of shit.

Another black day in what has been a long, dark season.

Nothing really more to add.

I dunno, when do fans (seriously) when does the paying customer say- "enough".? And How?

Embarrasing performances. Worst for over a hundred years?  Now they take the piss. On our money.

A so called 'Manager' who cannot Manage, proven  - a coach who cannot coach- Grant, proven. New signings who cannot play, less goals scored than anyone but Wolves etc etc etc.

FFS. Earning Millions?

Cool. You childish  **** * go have fun. And we of course cannot  complain because we might be fickle if we do.

Enough. Play ball or we won't.

No respect for mcleish or the club, else they would have behaved. I'd throw the book at all three!

when I said everyone is thinking what he said, it means that like him we are all disappointed. However, you have decided to turn this into an anti-McLeish rant, as opposed to blaming the players. These are grown men accountable to themselves first and foremost. They are not the manager's responsibility. If we had Mourinho in charge would you be so vocal in blasting the manager when it is all the player's fault.

Yes he has.

Saying it happens even at the big clubs.

I didn't realise we were a little club.

He's saying this happens at the big clubs.  It's happened at Villa.  How does that imply we're a little club?

Sorry for being a pendant, but he said “even” at the big clubs implying that we are not in the same category.

Arguably our best player ever turned up to games intoxicated, so why are so worried about an incident which, let's face it, if it wasn't for someone and thier phone wouldn't have even made the news.

They have apologised, time to move on - although the two of them that will play this weekend need to put in a performance and a half.

I thought the employment of McLeish was to get some respect back into the players at the club, after the tenure of Houllier.

Maybe Houllier should have moved upstairs and all the bad eggs at the club moved on.
