Apparantly they were very Lucky to get a draw against Swansea so we should get at them.

Collins is def out ,Gabby had a chance.I'd be tempted to play Ireland behind Wiemann with Herd and Clarke in midfeld.Id  also consider Carrathurs on the wing.I'm pretty sure however we will go with the target man option of Heskey.

I have a job interview at 9am Wednesday morning. I'm not sure how I'm going to sleep if we lose this one.

You can't spell Aston Villa without n-i-l-n-i-l

This'll be my Facebook status if it is nil-nil.

I can see the sense in that approach, freeing up Ireland and improving our ability to pass it. But I think it all depends on whether weimann can play the lone front man role in a side that is struggling for confidence and quality. We might struggle to give him the accuracy of passing he'll need. I'd tend to side with heskey for this one.

2-0. Weimann 67, N'Zogbia 88.

Sure hope so TD, but why on earth does McL keep taking N'Zog off like he does, it was pointed out to me that he scored a lot of goals for Wigan in the final 10 mins.

The guy must be so disgruntled at VP.

2-1 Villa I say with fingers firmly x'd.

I think he'll go with...

                              Given

Lichaj           Cuellar        Baker         Warnock

           Herd                     Clark

                           Ireland             N'Zogbia

            Weimann         Heskey

With Carruthers (or Albrighton), Bannan (or Gardner) and Gabby (in whatever fitness state he's in) as planned impetus from the bench.
We have enough to beat them.
Basically Clark and Herd win the ball and get it to Irelands asap, who we play through as much as possible.
Heskey to win anything in the air and work over their defence, who arent that great let's face it. Weimann gets the knock downs. We may even score from a set piece for a once in a blue moon treat.

Have a feeling Weimann and N'Zogbia will score in a 2-1 win.

Owen Coyle on the BBC site saying that they are almost out of midfielders through injuries. Surely, even Villa can capitalise on that...?

The law of averages will kick in and we finally score from a corner. Collins, off Cuellar, off a Bolton defender and the post to creep over the line in the 82nd, resulting in the longest 10 minutes of our lives and a 1-0 win

It will be like having an extra player in our side if he plays judging by the amount of times he gave the ball away when playing for us.
