Every stat presented on this thread makes miserable reading. It feels like we've been shot in the stomach and it's taking forever to die. No ambulance in sight either.
There are 92 clubs in the 'league' and thousands below. You can't win every game.
Football is our recreation not our work. Just seen a cracking goal for Middlesbrough on MOTD. Occasionally you get a bit of joy. Nobody has a divine right to it.

Are you drunk by any chance?

It's like the fall of Berlin.
The fall of the wall or the fall of the city?

As it happens, no. Try to enjoy the day out, like I do.  Take the rough with the smooth.

That's fine, I completely get the enjoying the day out bit, and have managed to do it a few times this season.  Pub, mates, good times.  But why then do you need to keep up the ridiculous defence of McLeish?  If you're out enjoying the day out, why the need to pretend that McLeish isn't anything but a truly dismal manager?  There's nothing whatsoever suggests that he's the manager you claim to think he is.  It's almost like you're on a big Coopers Injury style wind up.

And think how much more you would enjoy the days out with a win more than every once in 5 months.

Agreed, I find it very strange that any Villa fan cannot see that Mcleish is completely the wrong man in every regard. I'm repeating myself, but we get awful results, have no flair, offer no attacking threat and aren't particularly good defensively. Mcleish has done an awful job and however you look at it has to go.

Bookmark this for twelve months time. We will have set the league alight with scintillating performances. Mark my words.

Which league?

and which manager?

Martin Laursen will be manager and we'll be playing in the Welsh third division.
Some good trips there!

How many times do we have to say this. Please,oh please can you Mr Lerner just admit you were wrong and we were right.Take it on the chin and get rid of this bloke before you loose any more money. You must by now be wondering where all the supporters have gone, why the profits are non existent and funnily enough, why,(and this one will do you in proper)has not one supporter got McLeish on the back of there shirt?Does that tell you anything?Since i was 16 years old i have followed this club with a passion.Thats 26 sodding years of my life!So while you were living the life of a billionaires son and grandfather i was working at my first job on a golf course, earning shit money and collecting fuckin golf balls to sell to the pro shop so i could go home and away with this glorious club.I spent nights sleeping in my dads shed(he was a wolves fan with no sense of humour,at all) because i got home from away days after 10 oclock at night.Ive lost at least two decent girlfriends and at least three very good jobs going to fu..in Newcastle away on a Monday night-200 f...in quid for the privelage, and many other mid week games.I used to book my bloody holiday days around the Villa games so i could still go home and away.Great times with great people.Would i do it now?Bollox would i.You should have listened to us fans before you made McLeish our manager. With all due respect the bloke has plenty of balls, sell the best players, cut the staff wage bill,no money to spend! He still took the job and you have put him in a total no-win situation, someone to hide behind when it all goes tits up.You are a disgrace Mr Lerner,a bloody disgrace. Please go back to Granddaddys credit card buisness,at least then we expect to get ripped off with your astronomical interest rates and stop fucking about with our club, our heart and soul.We dont have much,us normal people, but we still have our Villa.Go home and destroy your "beloved Cleveland Browns" a bit more. For a buiseness man your are shocking.Sorry for the spelling,it is saturday night! You had the chance to become a legend at Villa Park and you are just throwing it down the drain.Whats all that about?Hero to Zero by design! If things are that bad just sell-up and bugger off.I am sure there are plenty of investors waiting to take over our Great club before the Premier League bubble bursts, and it will.Or you can re-invest and still become a hero. We,as you know, had a chairman before you called Doug Ellis,in my view a great chairman. The club was never in debt and we had our ups and downs. One thing that Doug was never scared of was sacking somebody if they were not getting the results.Ithink the next time you pleasure us with your presence at VillaPark you could do worse than have a word or two with OldDeadly, cause he will put you on the right path. All the best from Lanzarote Villa."Jaigermeister again please Barman!Oh.........Its lush...........

Any chance you could hit the space bar after a full stop, and maybe insert the odd paragraph?  Sorry to be a grammar Nazi again, but that's incredibly hard to read.
