Don't like QPR. Don't like their fans. Don't like their chants. Don't like Joey Barton.

Bizarre stat of the day (well it's a bit bizarre to me). We could finish the season with only 2 or 3 more defeats than Arsenal do. We've currently lost 13 and they've lost 10.

Arsenal have also won 20 out of 37.

Somebody should explain to the manager why wins are so important in football.

Finally it's all over!

After the season from hell and months of sleepless nights over relegation we can now say we are safe for another season (just). Everyone would agree that it was one of the worst season's we've ever seen at Villa. We are very lucky to stay up considering the lack of wins and not even having to hit the usual 40 points too!

Since MON left the club we've been on a downwards spiral. I along with others were very concerned with the appointments of GH & AML. Selling our best players (Barry, Milner, Young, Downing) and not replacing them with anyone was absurd and served us right.

One thing that made me worried about the way the club was being run was; when both GH & AML were appointed neither of them sat down and talked about the aims and ambitions of what they actually wanted to achieve at Villa! They just seem to come in without any major plans and plod along as if nothing mattered. Even the players began to do the same. It was as if we didn't want to compete as a club anymore. We were just turning up to games for the sake of it and didn't care. Surely RL will realize after two relegation scares in a row he must invest heavily + hire a proper manager otherwise it won't be third time lucky!

At least now we can relax for the next 3 months now and enjoy the Euro's without and stress and anxiety. AML on the other hand will be gutted that he was unable to take another midland club down. Fortunately for him the WBA job will be available next season.

Here is a final list of my top ten negatives of Villa's season (post your own too if you want)

1. No ambition/objective set
2. No further investment
3. Worst manager I've ever seen
4. Worst performances/results I've ever seen (WBA 1-2, Swans 0-2, Bolton 1-2)
5. Worst home record we've ever seen
6. Poor quality players (Heskey, N'Zogbia, Hutton)
7. Poor attendances/support for club
8. Lack of passion/drive
9. Struggled to compete with any team
10. Lack of goals, entertainment/excitement!

All in all made it one of the most depressing, embarrassing, shocking and pathetic season I've ever witnessed.

I'd hope for this now.

This season's been awful. I missed only two home games all season - Norwich and Fulham, meaning I've not seen us win in the flesh since early October.

While, barring an incredible swing in goal difference, we are safe, that is *the* only redeeming feature for the club this season. The likes of Billy McNeill and David O'leary gave us better home form than this.

Its been awful frankly, and personally i just want to forget about it and pretend it never happened .Don't care about Norwich. We stayed up, and we can repair the damage. Will carefully follow the investment, or lack of, this summer in players whoever the manager is, and if its not forthcoming by the end of august then time is up for Randy and the gloves are off.

We're also spared MOTD cutting between our's, Bolton's and QPR's games next week.

Second bizarre stat of the day. Only Manure have lost less away games than us.
