We won't beat Spurzzz..... rarely have I ever been more sure of a result not happening.

I can see us being on level points going into the last game but a vastly superior goal difference.  That's what'll probably save us ultimately.

A point against Spurs for us, with Bolton losing yet again at home to the Baggies, with QPR being held to a 1-0 loss to stoke is not outside the realms of possibility.
just as us going down to Spurs, Bolton trouncing the Baggies and QPR getting 3 points against Stoke with a flukey own goal

It's all going to be very much like sitting in Graham Norton's chair and telling why you should not be relegated.

Bookies have QPR and Bolton at evens and us at 20 to 1. Doesn't make me feel any better!

Stick some cash on then if you are that convinced we are going down.
Or just give me a tenner.
No I think we'll stay up. I'm just a nervous wreck waiting for it to happen.

You can still give me a tenner though.

I think it will go to the last game. If we lose and the other 2 get any points then we are right in it, I don't think mcleish or the players have got the motivation to keep us up then! Nervous times!

Not really.

If they draw, then we're as good as safe.

Can't believe this thread is still alive. Who'll overtake us: Blackburn or QPR?

Fully expect us to lose on Sunday but will be happy as a pig in shit if either Bolton or QPR lose! Not bothered how we stay up as long as we stay up!

The relegation fight is now between QPR and Bolton. Blackburn is as good as gone, and us and Wigan are almost safe.

Well it's still open because we are not mathematically safe.

How are your nerves holding up?
« Reply #1183 on: May 06, 2012, 10:00:31 AM »
Woke up at ten past six this morning wide awake, (it's Sunday FFS) couldn't get back to sleep. I just can't get rid of the feeling that things are really going to go tits up this afternoon.
Coming on here for a read hasn't helped to dispel the feeling of despair.

Same here. Have been awake since about half six and have been putting off doing revision. Had two cigs already.
