Sorry to be a pedant, but the precise term for our goal difference is 'less worser'

QPR will beat Stoke and Bolton will beat WBA, no question.

I dont think its anything like that obvious. I think both will be draws.

Yes, is this the same QPR side that got absolutely twatted last week and the same Bolton that got err absolutely twatted at home last night?
Unless they have entire new squads and a sudden confidence boost from somewhere I think one of them will lose...they are under massive massive pressure...

Another way of looking at it is from a Stoke view. Do you think they will  get no points playing against 2 teams in the bottom 4

You sure it's not "lesser worse"?

I think we need to plan for the worst and hope for the best. A win and we're safe, a draw and were probably safe, lose both and we might go down. If we do go down we will have won 1 in 16 and frankly would deserve it.

We are really bad, and deserve to go down, if anything keeps us up it will probably be luck.

Agree entirely - one would think that we have all seen enough unexpected results on here over the last few weeks to stop making definitive, categorical statements about results and who will go down. Anything could happen this weekend in terms of combinations of results and probably will. To state that we will lose and both Bolton and QPR will win is to proffer a likely outcome, perhaps even the most likely outcome and one can see why some people would think that, but this 'end of', 'no question' approach to what will happen is misguided and has been all the way through this unremitting mess of an end of season

For me it's all about QPR. To overtake us they have to beat Stoke and get a result vs Man City who will be going for the title, they won't get anything. This is if we get 0 points for the last 2 games. Bolton & Wigan on top of that, I would say we'r OK.
McCruff has done his best to get his relegation hat-trick though, .... Maybe next year with the Boggies.

I agree with the above post. We should be fine because qpr have a mountain to climb

But I really don't want to go into the last day equal on points with them. And if they win their next game I think we will.

Those were the days when it was goal average. That used to fuck people up who hadn't got a copy of their 41 times table.

Maybe we should introduce the Duckworth/Lewis instead.  That'll confuse everyone.

We are really bad, and deserve to go down, if anything keeps us up it will probably be luck.

We'll only deserve to go down if we finish in the bottom 3.
I'm sick of hearing this now. We're not a very good team at all but if we stay up its because we deserve to, because there are at least three other teams who are worse than we are and not luck at all.
