So, by my reckoning, if we match the result of either QPR or Bolton in either of the last 2 games, we are safe due to goal difference.  Is that right?

Yep. And in any order. If they both win on Saturday and we lose it gets a bit squeaky though,so you'd think McLeish would view it as a 'free' game  and have a go.

he won't

He'll play for a draw which we won't get as Spurs have something to play for and can actually play good football.
And then it will go to the last day and pressure can destroy any football but at least Norwich have little to play for. Come on, Man City, says I.

He needs to win to avoid setting a new record of just 4 home wins in a season.

I can see us being beaten and QPR and Bolton winning to leave us all level on points at least, I really wouldn't fancy that at all.

Come on Alex, do your stuff, the most boring draw you've ever produced will be a challenge but will suit us nicely.

QPR will beat Stoke and Bolton will beat WBA, no question.

I dont think its anything like that obvious. I think both will be draws.

QPR will beat Stoke and Bolton will beat WBA, no question.  It's all about what they'll do intheir last game that will define our fate, as I think we'll lose both of ours.

I disagree, don't think it's 'no question' at all. One of those two games could easily be a draw

I agree, which is why we need a draw at least on Sunday to make it a mathematical thing for the last day. I'd have no confidence in us needing anything from the last game, remember McLeech last year?

I wouldn't want to HAVE to beat Stoke, Agent Crouch will sort it.

There's no doubt in my mind that it's going go down to the last day, just like the title. It's far too Sky-perfect to happen any other way.

Probably, between QPR and Bolton.

Who do Blackburn and Wigan have to play? Wigan only have as many points as us don't they?

I don't think we will go down. 1 more point in the next 2 games would see us safe I think because of our superior goal difference.

Blackburn and Wolves, yes Wigan face by far the easiest equation of all four clubs but by no means are they a shoo in. As rubbish as they are Blackburn are fighting for survival this Saturday, so we may somehow see a bit more from them though I wouldn't bet on it. They then face Chelsea on the last day, slim chance at best.

I won't call that "superior", "better" maybe.
