Chelsea have done us a massive massive favour, 6-0 now.

QPR being hammered today is a very welcome bonus. Even if Villa lose their remaining two games by reasonable margins, QPR will have to beat Stoke by a large score and get a point away at Man City to finish above us. If Blackburn lose today as I expect, they're as good as gone.

We're not going down.

It's going to be a big ask for QPR to get four points from their last two games, although at this stage of the season odd things do happen. A Spurs win this afternoon and we can almost relax.

Certainly have.  QPR now three points behind us, but more importantly they are now 9 goals worse off than us.  Even if we lose both our remaining games (providing we don't get hammered and they don't hammer Stoke), they will still need to beat Stoke and get something at Man City.

But we don't want Spurs finding form for when they face us. A draw today and a draw against Bolton midweek will do me.

Win or at least match QPR's result next week and we are safe (barring a goal-difference miracle). Better QPR's result next week and we are mathematically safe.

If we could just win a football match we could end this nightmare next Saturday, great news about QPR but something tells me they will beat Stoke and that it will go to the final day, Villa wont make it easy for us they never do, we are looking like we may just be ok but cannot relax just yet.

Indeed, but hopefully by the time we kick off next week, we will be safe.

That QPR results sealed it for me. We'll stay up on goal difference. QPR and Blackburn have gone now.
