Only Wolves have taken less points from the last 6 games than Spurs , they are woefully out of form.

How many of us forecast today's Wigan result? I can see both Chelsea and Spurs losing tomorrow. We still in deep deep trouble.

The only time I will relax is when the league table shows three clubs with R next to their names and one of them isn't Aston Villa.

If Blackburn lose tomorrow they can't catch us, that's goin to leave 1 remaining position, I still think 2 points eulogy keep us up

it is now about other results because we seem incapable of winning a football match, i think it will go down to the last game, all we had to do was not lose at home to Bolton. We could not even achieve that.

Either you are a manic depressive or you actually want us to go down.

I think we are pretty much safe on 37. Spurs will be all guns blazing tomorrow with that 4th spot there for the taking.  A win for them takes us out of the 2nd last spot equation.

They then play Wigan which would be nice if they won putting Wigan under pressure for the final game.  QPR have to get something out of tomorrows game with Chelsea at Chelsea who are on a high and need to keep momentum.  QPR need 4 points to overhaul us.  Assuming they get 3 against Stoke ( not a given) they then need one from Chelsea or a resurgent Man City after a title.  Odds are stacked quite high in our favour as it stands.
I have been reading stuff like this for weeks now

And why wouldn't you be?

It's always been a scenario that not every club in trouble are going to have a run of form like Wigan.  1 off the 4 in trouble have got out of it and they are still worse off than us albeit by GD, but still not above us nevertheless.

We'll review it again at 6pm tomorrow.

I might be able to squeeze a away match in, I'm only an hour away from Bristol City.

Nothing like a game against the Villa to get yourselves out of a bad run of form.

I still think that could be the critical result. That was a six pointer. Still, I took solace from yesterday's draw and the fact that Bolton didn't win. Also, it's good that we have Richard Dunne back.

And, just because somebody points our the seriousness of our situation doesn't mean they are willing us to go down. In fact they are doing us a favour as a false sense of security at this point would be fatal. Home fans against Spurs need to get behind the team in a big way.

It's very much in our own hands still, yesterdays result for us proved that, most of us(including me) didn't think we'd get another point.
The Blackburn result essentially doesn't really matter today as they are playing Wigan next and both can't win. Although if Blackburn lose today and beat Wigan next Monday wouldn't that be sweet. If QPR beat Chelsea away,  we did after all, then fair play to them.

You'd think Spurs would try and take the chance offered on a plate of Blackburn, Bolton and us in a week to get Champions League footy wouldn't you. 2 wins and a draw for them would be good. Have they had a nil nil this year ?

It is clear that our forwards have no confidence to apply a decisive finish when clearly in positions where scoring is easier than missing or getting a save out of the goalkeeper. N'Zogiba twice, Heskey and Agbonlahor many times were guilty of that.

This is the most worrying aspect of our team at the moment. It means that coupled with noddy tactics and an uncertain defence we will not win any of the two remaining matches.
Our survival is in the hands of others.

Wigans run of incredible wins wont continue to the end of the season and the,way things normally work is to lose to a team they would have expected to beat so them losing to Blackburn after blackburn being beaten by Spurs today wouldn't be inconceivable at all.

At least were not having to put up with mid table tedium.....

We will not win any of the two remaining matches.

Thats the point....we dont have to win any ......two nil nillers would be fine....wouldnt damage our goal difference either
