If it still needs us to win at Norwich and maybe rely on others losing on that day, it will not be the fun-filled carnival day out that many are hoping for.

I touched on this the other week. If we're safe by then, which is possible, then i'd sack him and put Kmac in charge for the last game. Yes there'll still be anti-mcleish songs but at least the fans can go along and enjoy the day knowing he's not going to be there. After what the away regulars have watched this season, they deserve that at least.

I would have thought the last few weeks have demonstrated we can't rely on the expected results of others. Wigan, QPR, Blackburn have all upset the apple cart and Bolton have some very winnable games. I firmly believe we are going to have to dig ourselves out of this, with a minimum of a win. Whether we're capable of that I'm not sure, but I don't think the other sides are just going to lose.

Absolutley right, we need 3 points to be safe - if we don't get one or 3 draws I reckon we'll go down.

WBA  WIN
SPURS  LOSE
NORWICH  WIN

42 points, more than enough, f**k the others, dont worry lads/lasses trust me we will be ok.

I have supported McCleish all season, but I accept he's got to go now, otherwise we will go down next season.

I think we'll stay up. Blackburn have Chelsea and Spurs away, and Wigan at home, so are not getting the five points they need to catch us. QPR have Chelsea and Man City away, and Stoke at home so will probably get no more than three points. I think we'll stay up if we get one more point from our last three games. Obviously we don't want to be relying on others though, so we should aim for four points, which is definitely achiveable.

I think we'll beat the Albion, draw with Spurs and lose at Norwich.

Blackburn will pick up one more point at home to Wigan and go down.

QPR will beat Stoke and lose to both Chelsea and Man City, so we'll be safe come the Norwich game, given the goal difference.

Don't bank on Spurs, Newcastle and Chelsea doing us any favours.
Chelseas- heads will still be in the Nou Camp
Newcastle- getting cockycould easily slip up
Spurs-are just shit

Stamford Bridge will be rocking and Chelsea will still be going for 4th.  Can't see them losing on Sunday.
Toon - will be a good game with a lot to play for so i'd say a draw.
Spurs - the bad run can't go on forever, and they are actually a very strong side.

A point for us at the Hawthorns could be very valuable, and will tee it up nicely for next week's final home game against a spurs side who will have played 2 games already in the week.

Remember ...RDM wants Chelsea job so he will not be taking it easy and with suspensions they have for champs league players will be do best to take the places up for grabs.

I'm not, but although I wouldn't use the word 'banking', I do expect them to try and do themselves favours bearing in mind they're all chasing a top 4 spot and the Chelsea player will also be playing for their places in two cup finals.

Greetings Villans. Been a while since I've popped onto here but having noticed how much you've slipped of late I thought I'd drop in.

Not too sure what has happened to you lot. A number of decent players have gone out, far fewer have come in with the now injured Bent being the only one of note. Having some experience with relegation myself this is normally a recipe for disaster, if you stand still you go backwards, and if you go backwards you quickly go down. Still, you lot probably don't need me to tell you that.

What will save you lot this year, is what saved us in 2010 - there are enough clubs worse than you. However this will not save you lot next season, from what I can see you need to get shot of your dour uninspiring manager, and you need fresh blood in key positions. Still, what football teams need and what they get are rarely one and the same.

Best of luck, I'd much prefer to see Wigan, Bolton and QPR go down than you lot. Although I have to admit, seeing another sizeable PL regular drop into the Championship might make me feel a little better about West Ham's regular venture into England's second tier.

Be able to meet him for a pre-match pint next season if you fancy it.
