We have 2 away games left and our 3 away wins where against a Chelsea team in crisis and Bolton and wolves .doesn't inspire confidence really.

I think best hope is one draw putting us on 37 with better gd 2 loses for Wigan and Qpr and 1 win putting them on same points but down on GD

I see Seb Larrson is out for the rest of the season for Sunderland. That makes that a very winnable game for Bolton on Saturday.Sunderland haven't scored a goal in god knows how long, not to mention being on the beach

Just did the BBC predictor thing again, but put us as losing every game in order to see what I think we'd need to stay up.  To my surprise, I had us staying up by a point!

Have that usual feeling of hoping that by Saturday / Sunday night there will be nothing to worry about...after god knows how many weeks of it, it's just getting worse.
I'll be looking out for the other results...if we get one it will be a totally unexpected surprise...
feck, arse, drink....

It's what happens I'm afraid at this stage of the season.I was also horrified to read that Blues were actually 4 points clear of the drop this time last season,so actually in a better position than us with an arguably stronger side

They're playing Sunderland, Newcastle and Chelsea, plus Blackburn have Spurs.  Three are away and the home game, which is Wigan's, is against the most in form team (Newcastle).

we could lose against WBA and still be in a stronger position by the end of the weekend

I hope you're right.I really do I just things tend to conspire against you when you are down there.Teams around us will have been given a massive lift with us being dragged in as well

Don't bank on Spurs, Newcastle and Chelsea doing us any favours.

I would have thought the last few weeks have demonstrated we can't rely on the expected results of others. Wigan, QPR, Blackburn have all upset the apple cart and Bolton have some very winnable games. I firmly believe we are going to have to dig ourselves out of this, with a minimum of a win. Whether we're capable of that I'm not sure, but I don't think the other sides are just going to lose.
