Wigan will win against Blackburn, but Blackburn will draw against Wigan?

Still think we'll be fine, mostly thanks to QPR's and Blackburn's difficult run-ins. And we'll probably pick up one or two more draws (at least Norwich away when they have nothing to play for should be at least one point), but starting to doubt that we'll get more than seven wins this season. It'll be close unless we get a win.

Talked to supporters of four different clubs today - each one to a man said "Ah, you'll be alright, you won't go down".

Every time I tried to explain that they didn't actually know how desperate things are at VP. If this is the norm then we will we get relegated "under the radar" so to speak?

Is it worth locking this and starting a new 'Relegation-watch' thread? I really can't believe how far we've fallen.
Why not do that but keep it in here?

If the thread about the manager can get to nearly 300 pages, why does this one suddenly need to stop?

Over the past few seasons We seem to have given up trying to compete with the top teams so there is little difference battling with the likes of Bolton and Wolves to be third from bottom of the PL or third from top of the first division.

If I say it enough times maybe I'll start to believe it myself.

It is not what I predicted last night. I had us going down with no further points being secured. You have to have hope.

Bang on. Three points against Albion in the meantime won't hurt either.

Of course the Spurs game would be more fun if we already had the points in the bag, but if we don't, fans have a role to play in our last home game.

What you lads drinking can i have some there will be no more points put on the board and i think we all know it deep deep down.Mind you if me bet comes in at least will be able to get drunk and drown me sorrows. But better still would like to see Mc Moron drown he as single handedly broken all records and turned our great club into a team that as no ambition to succeed .
