Let's face it, he's not exactly a great manager for motivating his teams in either local derbies or relegation battles, is he?

We may as well not turn up against Albion.

Officially bricking it now.

Tonight was a disaster to lose especially the manner of it. We could've easily lose our last three now imo which would relegate us I reckon.

If we can scrape a draw from somewhere, then with the goal difference we still have a good chance but I reckon all three below us will win at least one more game this season....Wigan against Wolves, Bolton against West Brom and QPR against Stoke. It's going to come down to how many draws they get....got to pray QPR don't pick up anything at Chelsea or Man.City which is still very possible but they're not far off our goal difference now.

Christ almighty.

Did you see the abject display Blues put in against Fulham at this stage of the season last year?

It's come to something when we're hoping that Stoke get a result to keep us in the league.

And yet a draw tonight wasn't going to be any good.  Now it seems a draw would have been the result to keep us up.  We'll lose the next three.

Is mazrim around tonight? He had a go at me earlier because I dared suggest that we would be relegated. What does he think now? If he still thinks we will stay up then it's he who is not in the same postcode as reality.

There is a chance we will go down, but we are hardly dead certs. Also, gloating about a potential relegation doesn't sit too pretty with me.

Yeah, 2-0 wasn't it? Or 3-0, at home as well. I think they had about 5 successful passes all afternoon.

A promising 3 games we have to look forward to..

i went to wolves v blose last season when the dingles won 1 nil and had a little chuckle to myself that they were awful, I have never seen a more inept performance from a team that the blues gave until  ....... well a few this season by us . must be Karma   :'(

If we lose on Saturday this will probably constitute the Boggies greatest ever season. Midtable for them, Dogheads down and Villa a decent bet to join them. The season gets worse and worse and worse.

Ah yeah...2-0, here's the article with a typical McLeish post-defeat interview: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/13364707

I truly detest this man.

The Chelsea result doesn't do us any favours. Am hoping Man City win Monday to keep them on their game as well.

The way I see it, we kept being given chances to distance ourselves and didn't take them. After Fulham, we looked at the fixture list and pinpointed Man Yoo and Man City as certain defeats so everything else was up for grabs. Took the lead against Stoke and Liverpool and ended up with a point. Could have created a fearsome return for O'Neill against Sunderland - led to a tepid 0-0. Bought Chelski back to 2-2 and ballsed it up. And tonight, battered a very poor side for 45 minutes, let a still very poor side back into the game only to take the lead, but didn't kill them off...and then in 90 seconds blew our remaining ace in the hole.

There may be twists to come in the next three games. But the first twist has already happened: Villa, who were eight points clear, will be relegated.

O'neil has left your club in debt and now Mcleish is taking you down, this time three years ago you were 6th and fighting for Europe, we were going down. How the times have changed.
