It will be close, but I don't think that we will go down. But it won't anything yo do with our results that will keep us up as I can't see us picking up too many more points this season. Our players have lost their will to fight for our club. We are going to be counting on the pressure getting to Bolton, QPR and Blackburn. Jesus it's going to be tight.......

Yet more 'we can do better' platitudes from Bannan and Gabby on the OS.  Lads, we'd rather have performances and points, thanks all the same.

Just looked at the table to see we're 6 points clear, which reassured me.

Statistically to date we should have enough by virtue of a few more draws.

"Wolves Obviously" have helped by claiming a spot for themseves, my money is on QPR and Bolton to join them.

It's 7 really with our dwindling superior GD as far as Bolton and Blackburn are concerned.

EDIT: Blackburn would need 8 more points to leap over us.  8 from 12 is a very tall order.

You know what, I'm positive today. We aren't going down. QPR and Blackburn wont catch us and Wolves are dead and gone.

We need 3 clubs to overhaul us. Wolves can't barring a miracle. Blackburn are looking unlikely. I think it's fair to say on current form that Wigan may well do. So that leaves Bolton and QPR. Bolton have to beat us really to do it and I think we're good enough to get a point at least from that one. QPR have got 2 difficult away games so are reliant on their homes. Hopefully Tottenham can pull their finger out and do us a favour this weekend. I've voted no anyway but a sign of such an awful season that I'm still worried and obsessively checking other teams' scores at this stage.

Blackburn are going to struggle - they didn't look great with Hoilett and Yakubu and now the two of them are injured I don't really see how they can score, let alone win.

QPR, Blackburn and Wolves are all but doomed I think. I think we're lucky that other sides are so bad and have bad run ins - but at least we survive.

Sadly I voted yes, but it really all depends on the Bolton game for me - if we avoid defeat I think we'll be safe.  But I fear we won't.  I really do think our manager is that bad.

AM is so bad he's a creative genius when it comes to relegation. Looking at the table and run in, most people would say that we are likely to survive. But this man should never be underestimated. Blose were in a relatively safe position last season and then he lead them on an incredible bad run in the last 10 matches culminating in a home surrender to Fulham. I fear a repeat.

We cannot rely on anyone else's results...we've seen already that there is no such thing as a given in ths league.  We simply have to beat either Sunderland, Bolton or WBA or draw all three to be safe.

I cannot see us winning any of them myself, so hopefully we can avoid defeat and scrape through but it's not going to be pretty.

It's worrying, as we seem to be on a real desperate, negative path at the moment.
In fact the only light is seeing the young kids 'Having a go'. Most seem to think we are safe but I've got a horrible feeling that events in the next few weeks will go against us.
fair play to Wigan they really deserve to stay up playing that kind of football.

I think Yes.
We have been sleepwalking into this situation all season.
I can't see us winning another game with the injuries we have, the inability of our manager to pick the correct players in the correct positions, his failure to bring back the experienced players he has at his disposal as he sticks with these kids trying to keep him from critisism...he can always point to that when it all goes wrong, and the recent results of all of our relegation rivals, and their ability to play much better football than us.
I sincerely hope I'm wrong but I fear the worst.
