We'll be saved by the teams below us being awful.

As with previous seasons (Hull, West Ham, Wolves/Blackburn) teams that get away with it one year get found out the following season. I genuinely think relegation is coming, even if we stay up this year.

Crap yo-yo clubs (Wet Spam, Wolves) or one-season wonders (Hull, and watch Swansea plummet next season) get found out. Villa have a season like this every few years, we won't be anywhere near relegation next season even with McLeish.

We are really bad right now though. 1 win in 12, 1 win at home in 6 months etc, a lot of injuries, no one scoring goals, poor at the back, no fight.

Reading a couple of United forums, they reckon we were the worst side they have seen at Old Trafford all season, and if they had needed too could have got a cricket score. You can't argue.

I've heard fans say that after a number of games thi season: Manu h and a, Liverpool h, city h, spurs a, arsenal a, Qpr a.

With the excePtion of a handful of games we've been bloody awful this year, and I thought we were bad last year. At least then we passed the bloody thing. I'd rather have kept Gary mac!

Please please please get rid

Well we've had 2 years in a row where we've been under the threat. If something doesn't change I don't see things getting much better

We'll stay up, maybe in 17th, but we'll stay up. One of Bolton, QPR and Wigan won't get enough points to overhaul us.

Next season, however.... strong candidates to drop.

Even if we don't get another point, I can't see the other catching us.  We will stay up because there are three teams even worse than us.

I think next weekend is the important one. The other relegation teams all have very winnable games. If we lose against Sunderland and 2/3 of the other 4 teams win, I think we will go down. Particularly if Bolton win, who have a six-pointer against us and a game in hand.

QPR's last four games include Spurs, Chelsea, Man City. Blackburn's include Spurs and Chelsea.

On the balance of probability we will stay up, even with only the 35 points we already have.

I can see Wigan surviving, they have only lost 2 since the end of January, including being robbed at Chelsea. Bolton seem to be completely down and out, but may yet put a run together.

It really is hard to see where the next win or goal is coming from, but I wouldn't rule out a couple of 0-0 draws.

I do wonder if the game with Sunderland will see both camps too afraid of losing to make any serious attempt to win the game.

Voted no, but it'll be by the narrowest of squeeks.

Draws at home to Sunderland and Bolton should be enough. Just.

Th finances dictate that we won't be spending any money again this summer, unless we flog Bent and N'Zogbia, and then we'll probably only reinvest a small proportion of the proceeds.  And of course we'll be in danger of going down with McLeish, he just isn't Premier League calibre when it comes to management.

Odds of 14/1.. I'm tempted. If I'm gonna be crying at the end of the season I may as well make a profit while I do.

I have voted no but not with the confidence I should be able to - I think its going to be a very rocky road to the end of the season and the 2 home games coming up are massive

Won't go down this season and in two years time can see us making a push for the top 6. Might just scrape into the play offs.
