I hope its Lambert but I think the delay points towards Martinez if Liverpool fail to appoint him.

My ITK tells me that Ron Knee aged 59 is about to step down as manager of Neasden FC after almost 50 years in the job.
His greatest signing was one legged goalkeeper Wally Foot.
I'm hearing that Knee has had a major falling out with his owner, who apparently has no interest in football, evidenced by his answers to football questions on 'Have I Got News For You'.
Knee's name always comes up when ever the England job becomes vacant but for some strange reason the FA always overlook him. So their loss could be our gain.

Friday seems optimistic to me.

He didn't say which Friday though did he?

I'm going for June.

As much as it is frustrating for us can you imagine how pissed off the media are as they really dont have a clue about any of it

I would love to pull a real class act out of the bag just to fuck them off even more - this is what i wish for but reality means that our lot are capable of anything - just think of TSM - how they came to the conclusion he was the answer is still beyond me

My choices

1/ OGS - makes a bigger U turn than an Italian infantry man
2/ AVB - would be so motivated to prove the mafia wrong
3/ Capello - excellent club manager and loves coming to VP (was the ground he went to most when manager of England)
4/ Poyet - but with an excellent / experienced #2 like Wilkins / Clarke

Actually the more i think about it - make # 4 my main choice

Since Eck was sacked, there has been a thought in my mind that the club would spend all summer looking for someone, then give the job to Kevin Mac. I don't know why to be honest.

I think that appointment would be popular with our two superfans, Sid and Doris Bonkers... Or as they prefer to be called, DC5 and Pauline.

I hope its Lambert but I think the delay points towards Martinez if Liverpool fail to appoint him.

I agree, of the two i prefer lambert as he has achieved 2 promotions and got norwich to midtable on limited resources, also seems to have that steely character about him , whereas martinez has just avoided relegation with wigan in successive years and althougha great finish the run of 2 wins in 28 is worrying.

I would be happy enough with martinez but much happier with lambert.

I think they should talk to Jimmy Frizzell, if Ron Knee is back in the running. He was barring Joe Mercer, the most humourous man in football..took Oldham to the heights and then got sacked with a wry smile before moving to Citeh. Sold us Earl Barratt before the decline, I think; maybe that was the decline?
Is he still about? I could do with a good laugh..

I genuinely have no clue what is going on, there literally not even a whisper about what's happening.

Everytime I check google news it's just the same old stories.
