I can appreciate the frustration regarding what seems to be a delay in getting a new man in, but none of us, like the press, really know what's going on behind the scenes.  I'd rather some time is taken in getting the right man in place this time, and the fact that OGS was on the radar does at least, hopefully, show some indication of what the school of thought is at B6.

There is a hell of a lot of speculation, certainly in the press who clearly are rather clueless regarding, which is no bad thing.  I would like to see a new man in sooner rather than later but we have time on our side and I'd rather all options be weighed up properly this time.

For me, Randy sent out a positive message with his swift actions in sacking McLeish, the timing of which has afforded us the best possible time scale to conduct a search and consider all possible candidates, I know people are concerned with regard to who that might be, but taking time over the decision is no bad thing and as stated, the OGS link had many of us buzzing for quite sometime so it might be no bad thing to ignore the speculation and keep the glass half full rather than half empty.

Let's hope the People are wrong.
Southgate's Managerial record is chronic.

It's not that bad.

19th with Boro, relegation and at one point they only had one win in 18 games.
Even worse than McLeish.
If he wasn't an ex-Villa player the suggestion would be roundly laughed at.

Southgate down to 10-1 from 33's. Lambert evens now. Martinez/Benitez 5-1. Money still going on Lambert then.

I think Eastie has been watching Benny Hill re-runs again.

I would put money on Southgate if I could, there's just something about it that seems credible.

Dont worry clampy, for a man who stated on friday our midfield and defence are mostly fine i dont take what you have to say seriously!
Anyway On the subject of tits how are you today clamps!

It was a joke based on the word 'knockers'  but it went over your head by the look of it.

Expecting developments in next 48 hrs regarding martinez decision, i dont think benitez or southgate are targets, but wouldnt totally rule out lambert .

I would say if martinez wants it,I think he will get it, if  not lambert probably will, in my opinion.
Or arent we allowed to give our opinions on here without your constant sniping at people?

I will say that if Martinez has had offers from Villa and Liverpool he would be absolutely crazy to stay at Wigan again, whether he is loyal or not.

Come on Dave, go easy it is a Monday morning. If Martinez is in by this time on Wednesday at least we will have something different to think about.
