Also I saw southgate on tv, he said he's not interested in management at the moment

The paper was talking about Southgate doing a Director of Football job and Kevin McDonald being the head coach. It's lazy journalism - they've just thought the DoF role is probably similar to what he's doing for the FA and that he's an ex-Villa player it would be something we would consider. They won't worry about things like us saying we're not looking at that set-up and talk that McDonald isn't being considered (nor does he fit the requirement).

The one thing the club have made consistantly clear is that they are looking for one man only. That man will be the manager. They are not even considering a DOF.

Nightmare.   I dreamed that he was being presented to the fans in the Holte Suite but he was delivered by courier all wrapped up in cloth like a mummy.

I'm thinking it's going to be a very left field overseas appointment
Kind of exciting & without doubt will be better than "the other guy"

A very left field overseas appointment?
Is that nice young Mr. O'Leary still living in the middle east?

And how does that equip him to manage us exactly?

Lambert down to 6/4 with Wm's..Southgate nowhere; 33/1. Rest drifting.

A better idea is to stick something on Persian Gates and Sublime Talent at Fakenham today. Put the winnings on Lambert whilst ye may..

There are a number of plus sides to Martinez. The one being we'd not have to hear from Whelan bleating on about hum as if he was a piece of meat hanging at the market. He would hopefully make a couple of quick signings too. Rodallega is on a free, Victor Moses is in the last year of his deal and some bloke called N'Zogbia who played his best football under Martinez.

Seems we're having problems like last year and i'm guessing its for the same reason. No-one managing at our level or with a reputation wants to follow TSM's brief of keeping us up with kids and free transfers. Don't blame 'em

Ever optimistic. Why not have a moan after the appointment, they might shock you Greg.
