Hoddle would be another Houllier. Out of the game too long.

Could we be lining up Chris Hughton? West Brom seem to be interested in other candidates when it seemed like he was destined for them a few weeks ago.

Oh Jeezuz, that would mean another season of fans moaning about taking from SHA again

Sorry to be negative. It's just my gut instinct on him. If he got the job he'd have my full support.

I'd rather see a Lambert, Martinez, Rodgers, Poyet take the hot-seat. An up-and-coming hungry manager rather than somebody who was a top coach but has been away for a while.

How sad is it that at 12.40 am there are over 300 people browsing this site.
There is nothing sad or strange about that. Not all our followers live in little old England. We also have well over 500,000 Facebook followers so this is a very small % of the global Villa Internet community.

Does Hoddle come under the young and vibrant category?

Show me the quote where the club say "young" is a criteria? Not being arsey, just seeing it repeated as a new truth, but can't ever remember it coming from the club.

yes someone, might have been you said this yesterday,

i assumed it said 'young' as well which i think is incorrect, i'm sure its because of the vibrancy thing,
but you can be old and vibrant, like Cliff Richard

My apologies your quite right. The 'young' bit does not appear in the club statement.

Ok does Hoddle come into the 'vibrant' category? I hope not.

I imagine they couldn't say young because some smart arse lawyer would sue them for breach of age discrimination laws.

They clearly meant young though.

Eileen Drewery once stated that Hoddle would often vibrate like a tuning fork at the incredibly high frequency of 6645 Hz (G#, I believe) when  his chakras were realigned.

Me too. Though if his advice is good, I'll take that.
