Might be interesting to know that Anderlecht have confirmed they received a CV from AVB. It is believed he would ask 3m euros a year and has sent his CV to 'a couple' of European teams in order to find a club asap. Anyway, they confirmed he's out of their financial means.

Hoddle and wilkins would be interesting, glenn has his knockers but we would see decent football, maybe prefer hoddle as dof and poyet as coach.

But are Hoddles knockers as big as Melinda Messengers? If not he can fuck off.

I'd keep
Given, Gabby, Herd, Ireland, Bent, Weimann, Makoun, Clark, Baker, N'Zogbia, Gardner

Fuck the rest off (including the not good enough Bannan and Albrighton)

Promote about 3 or 4 from the kids fully into the squad (Carruthers etc)

That would mean signing about 7 players, 1 of which we've already got (Hey there lonely girl Holman)

Therefore 6 signings required.

I would say that is a pretty spot on summing up. I would however be termpted to keep one of Collins or Dunne for continuity and to save having to find 2/3 decent central defenders in one go.

But within ours. Would not shock me at all, he fits the bill perfectly for the description. Just if we can convince him.

Don't forget TSM was on 2million quid a year - that's 2.5 mill euros. I'd say there was scope for negotiation if AVB wanted to sit down and have a chat about it.

Looking over that top 30 table again, it's worth reminding ourselves we pay our managers more than Milan, Inter, Dortmund and Juve. And also more than/same as the national coaches of Spain, Germany and Brazil.

Which draws the question... Why the hell should we be looking at the likes of Grayson, Poyet, McCarthy, Curbishley or dare I say OGS?

The reality is though that we really don't know who the board are looking at other than Solskjaer.
