AVB is 60/1 for the Villa job and 18/1 third fav. for the Albion job ! Work that one out.

Easy, it's who fans are backing/betting on, it means nothing in reality.

The Villa job should be more attractive now than at almost any time in our history.

The squad and team have clearly underperformed recently, the outgoing manager was one of the most loathed we've ever had, fans expectations are rock bottom, and the owner is as soft as billionaires get.

Oh, and we're one of the biggest clubs in the land.

For any aspiring manager with ambition this is one of the best opportunities they'll ever see.

Definitely an ideal job for someone to ' have a go'. However, established or rated managers will think twice, due to the clubs limited budget and ambitions. Sad but true IMO.

Good for you. He would be a disaster for us though.
Why would he be a disaster for us?
I think he would be good, he would bring passion, flair, strong leadership, and a winning mentality. All qualities we have been seriously lacking in the last 12 months or more.

Precisely!!

What does it matter if he is a fascist?

It's a shame that nice Mr Breivik is under lock & key. He'd make an excellent press officer.

Mad fantasies of world domination.

And why not, eh?  It's a bit like playing, 'Risk'.  I hope the Villa have sewn up Australia.

Di Canio?

Probably the only candidate that would keep me away from Villa Park.

Some things are more important than football.

This is a tweet from earlier today:-

Ian Abrahams ‏@Moose_talkSPORT
Reports Roberto Martinez is in Miami - I am lead to believe it's for talks with Randy Learner over a move to Aston Villa NOT Liverpool FC

OK, He's a talkSPORT 'journalist', but could be plausible after OGSgate.

Apart from the 2 photos of Henry and Martinez drinking coffee walking the Miami streets. The Moose is a blithering idiot.

Di Canio can fuck right off, nutcase.
Agreed.
Although we do have a habit at Villa Park of converting right-wingers to the left.

And march into the sudetenland.

New ground for me. Who plays there?

I think its a shared venue between two home teams.  A bit like the San Siro I gather.
