I'd offer it to Pearce. Good with youngsters and would hopefully sort the discipline out. There might be some interesting tactical developments though.

Seriously, I think he's worth a shout

Pearce has the olympics to worry about , not a viable option and not a good choice in my opinion.

He always comes accross as the type of manager who thinks that clenching your fist and shouting come on is enough.

Di Matteo, Rodgers, Poyet in that order for me. Adkins is an interesting shout with the jobs he has done at Scunthorpe and Southampton. No idea why anyone would suggest Zola might be a good choice. I wasn't impressed at the way Lambert lost his cool in his press conference the other night. Your top striker has put in a transfer request and you are the favourite for the Villa job. Those subjects will crop up in a press conference.

Pearce is hopeless. Passionate, but hopeless.

No pedigree as a manager, tried it and was a flop at this level and i see nothing to think hed do a good job, if we are going to take a risk on a younger man what about lee clark?

He was angry because the press conference and the night were about adam drurys testimonial and as he said that was all he there to talk about , it was adams night.

Looks a steely character and not a man to be messed with though, could see lambert sorting the dressing room out no problem.

Said he was happy at norwich, said he hadnt asked to leave norwich , but he didnt say he would be staying at norwich- offer him the right deal and i think he would be tempted.

Okay, let's all save time and listen to me. Let's go shit or bust for Lambert.

Those posting recommendations for AVB need to get to the doctors and quick. Fact:History will show that from the moment AVB left, Chelsea's season turned 360 winning the FA Cup & Champions League. I don't necessarily put this down to Di Matteo any more than a rebellious sigh of relief from the likes of JT & Lampard as AVB's departure.

Fact they were massively on the slide under his tenure.

Thank you. Poll now closed. Go to work & remember that absolutely nothing that you post on here is going to make the slightest biot of difference to the eventual outcome of the managerial post at our beloved club anyway. Fact.

I just looked at Roeder's managerial career on Wiki and it's not the best reading to be honest
