I heard that on TS aswell, but what role does Tony Morley have at our club?

I don't like Holloway but If a manager can get us playing well and winning and there is a long term plan for further success I will not care at all if I like the manager at all.

i've said stuff to my own Wife that i'm not proud of, but she doesnt judge me on it a year later,

My missus can drag stuff up from 15 years ago. She saves it up, its like Jack Charltons little black book, even though she barely knows who Jack Charlton is.

He does some corporate work on matchdays and commentary work on AVTV, I'm not aware of anything else. He coaches kids during the week, including my Godson.

Albions last two managers, won champions league and England manager. They seem do know what English football is all about. We can't match yet we always think we are top dogs.

Raise you one England manager and one that actually won the big cup with us, not somebody else.

I was just talking about since Lerner came, just worried that we might get it wrong again. You have gt to hope its a learning curve for us

I'd definitely have Martinez ahead of Lambert. His sides play much better stuff.

Martinez side played very well for the last ten games of the last two seasons but were in the bottom three for most of both of those seasons! Norwich were never in that position last season.

I'd take Lambert out of the two!

Maybe 'work' was a bit stong but he's on AVTV all the time with Woodwank covering matches and is often to be found giving his opinion on the official site.

If we appoint Holloway, I feel we're in for a Gregory type scenario. Fun at the start, attacking football, media attention because of the manager's soundbytes. Then we tire of him as he runs out of ideas and the soundbites become predictable and annoying.

Sorry for being so negative.

I agree will all these points.I also can't believe alot of our fans would be keen on him when he talked our club down when we were linked with Adams. That one year in the premiership with his soundbites were a gift for journalists .He became even more annoying when he started to play up to the wider media platform he believed all loved him.The little shit.

do you actually believe all the guff that managers come out with on a constant basis, they all talk utter crap most of the time, its no use getting all precious about it, he was fighting his corner at the time, we really shouldnt be taking it to heart

i've said stuff to my own Wife that i'm not proud of, but she doesnt judge me on it a year later,
frankly its a bit pathetic, if we are looking for some snow white figure who never said boo to a goose, thats exactly what we will get.

we need to man up a bit, a get over it, the man plays good entertaining football, not always winning football as the Wembley play off final showed, but i would take Holloway's football every day of the week over Fat Sams even though he came of second best at the weekend

If I was convinced about his ability, his comments wouldn't have bothered me.

If you're good enough, you can say anything and still be taking seriously (see Wenger, Mourinho, Fergie etc). But Holloway isn't.

My wife drags the same things up relentlessly. It's like listening to her Greatest Hits on Wife FM Gold.

To be fair, she has plenty to choose from

You could argue that Deadlys first two appointments were an unmitigated disaster and one of mixed fortunes. He did OK with the 3rd one though.

I'm not too bothered about Holloway's comments about us. If somebody was trying to pinch my best (and only good) player from my struggling side, I'd be pissed off as well. He was probably exhausted and frustrated and looking for any reason to hit back at us; I haven't took it to heart.

Has anyone ever just not bothered with a manager? I'm up for that at the moment. Let us choose the team. You're not allowed to get involved Greg.

Great manager selections? Are we forgetting Megson, Robson and Mowbray?
RDM was average there and Woy got them to the heady heights of 10th. Which is lower than our supposedly shit appointment GH managed.

To put it bluntly, Albion aren't fit to lick our balls.

That was before they appointed their director football.  I’d say they have been okay since then.
