Who's voted for the Pizza boy? Not having a go, curious as to why that's all as he's relatively unknown.

Took Braga to europa league final. Portuguese league is pretty strong and opens up a new avenue of recruitment. Also the names on the list from the premiership are uninspiring. Sometimes is better the devil you don't know!

If we appoint Holloway, I feel we're in for a Gregory type scenario. Fun at the start, attacking football, media attention because of the manager's soundbytes. Then we tire of him as he runs out of ideas and the soundbites become predictable and annoying.

Sorry for being so negative.

I agree will all these points.I also can't believe alot of our fans would be keen on him when he talked our club down when we were linked with Adams. That one year in the premiership with his soundbites were a gift for journalists .He became even more annoying when he started to play up to the wider media platform he believed all loved him.The little shit.

He forgot the golden rule, however, be careful who you kick on the way up because they'll kick you harder on the way down! He's where he belongs now and I doubt anyone, maybe Wigan excepted, would consider him a Premier League Manager after his one failed attempt.

Well whoever said Albion are bigger than Villa, is clearly wrong they have never been and never will be. The only thing up for debate is whether their board has better judgement than ours, hopefully Randy will prove they don't.

do you actually believe all the guff that managers come out with on a constant basis, they all talk utter crap most of the time, its no use getting all precious about it, he was fighting his corner at the time, we really shouldnt be taking it to heart

i've said stuff to my own Wife that i'm not proud of, but she doesnt judge me on it a year later,
frankly its a bit pathetic, if we are looking for some snow white figure who never said boo to a goose, thats exactly what we will get.

we need to man up a bit, a get over it, the man plays good entertaining football, not always winning football as the Wembley play off final showed, but i would take Holloway's football every day of the week over Fat Sams even though he came of second best at the weekend

He didn't say bigger. Their set up at board level is much better than ours currently, and that's the people who are going to be picking the managers of the clubs.

Thanks Archieavfc and lovejoy for answering. There's very mixed reports about him, I guess as there is for everyone!

Albions last two managers, won champions league and England manager. They seem do know what English football is all about. We can't match yet we always think we are top dogs.

Raise you one England manager and one that actually won the big cup with us, not somebody else.

Albion better than villa, hell no. But might have more clue with appointing managers. Can you see them appointing the manager of relegated rival?

Almost.  Blues went down the same season he left and for good measures he took Albion down as well.  What a result.

Did  anyone else hear Tony Morley on Talk sport yesterday morning say that OGS would be  a big gamble and we needed a more experienced guy maybe even a top European coach.
This was before OGS 'changed his mind' and maybe (as Morley works for the club) was the club speaking to us ?

I'd definitely have Martinez ahead of Lambert. His sides play much better stuff.

I will nail my colours to the mast here. If we appoint that self righteous, odious little prick gollumway, me and Aston villa under the rl regime are through and my time will be given to supporting tamworth untill they are ousted. He disrespected our club and we should never go crawling to him cap in hand. Kmac, Grayson, he'll even get big eck back. But never precious....
