We're going to end up bringing McLeish back at this rate...

I wouldn't want Van Gaal. The guy's like a wrecking ball wherever he goes, he'll pitch up, alienate half the players, spend a loud of dough, and then leave a huge mess behind him when he departs.

Are you sure you are not on about MON :)

I am quite pleased OGS is out of the running, I wasn't as convinced as some on here that he was the best choice, although admittedly a lot of people supporting him did accept it would have been a gamble. I see that Lambert is still the favourite but the money today has been going on Martinez, Paciencia and Poyet. I think Poyet would be a decent choice.

One of the problems we have is that there are a large group of managers such as mad-mick, owen coyle, Grayson, Curbs etc that we all automatically say no to straight away.... 2 years ago Alan Pardew would have been in this group as well!
is there a diamond amongst the shite????

I don't know alot about him but on Wiki he seems to have a good record. Surely if he is interested in WBA and Anderlecht we stand a good chance of getting him if we want him.

I'm hoping the board are going to pull a rabbit out of the hat. We desperately need a manager who is going to play good football, who will reinvigorate the club. It's really important they get this right.
