I'm actually quite excited about the manager this time around. Last season you knew it would be someone shit from the moment Benitez/McLaren/McLeish became the favourites. This time around I think all the names are genuinely interesting prospects (minus Di Matteo, who flopped at West Brom.)
Did he? I thought he got them promoted and was then sacked with them still outside the relegation zone? A lot of baggies fans were upset about it and the ones I know all seem to think he was a far more forward thinking manager that Woy.

Greg, I don't understand your objection. They're 'looking abroad', like you wanted.

I dont think there will ever be a criteria that will suit greg.

He's like Goldilocks in a bedding superstore.

If he comes i predict the honeymoon will last to the first time we play Man U and the "OT will always be my home" press interviews.  Nah, its a bad idea all round IMO.

I doubt that. Wouldn't his wife withhold certain privileges if he did anything so stupid>

what if we play Man U away, first game of the season - no honeymoon at all ?

We've got the Dutch scouting network in place (provided Numan hasn't walked out with his mate) so let's try to look there. Frank de Boer wouldn't be too bad.

Bugger me - things move fast - I didn't know Gary Numan was even interested in football.  Is his friend electric?  We need to be told.

Could be that randy has a shortlist like last time and maybe hes flown to meet ogs before flying here to interview the other candidates on his shortlist?

Not a done deal yet but pretty much seems ogs is in the running.

I enjoyed the link to the list of Norwegian managers.

Per Wind
Ole Mork
Finn Willy Sorensen (sounds like a Norwegian blues singer)
Henry From
Eric Kuld Jensen (reminded me of David Kid Jensen)
Brian Flies (football headline writers dream)
