I dont think he's the main target but I think Solksjaer is on the list.

In football its about usually deciding who you want and then going and getting them , not many clubs go through the process of interviewing several candidates- its always better to have your target and if you cant tempt him then move onto the next target.

Many good managers would not put themselves forward for an interview or apply but would probably take the job if approached.

Apparently last season we wished to approach martinez and hopefully we will approach a club shortly to take their boss- no point in interviewing mccarthy ,grayson , etc out of politeness.

...there's more chance Shirley Bassey will be manager of Aston Villa with a coaching staff of Elaine Paige and Barbara Dickson.  ;)

What a wonderful idea. Can you imagine them on the pitch before a big match...

Midnight
Not a sound from the pavement
Has the moon lost her memory?
She is smiling alone
In the lamplight
The withered leaves collect at my feet
And the wind begins to moan

Marvellous.

we would still end up with Susan Boyle

I would.

Any holes a goal.

Some are own goals though.

let him dream the dream  :D

Has Solksjaer really done enough to be a serious candidate?

Man Utd reserves and one season at Molde in Norway??

Solskjaer is a good candidate in fairness. Would be happy with that.

Oh fuck, do we learn nothing? Another Fergie wannabe without any sort of record to suggest he can cut it. Hope there is nothing in it.

I know what you mean. He has impressed people but I'm not sure it's enough yet.
We'll see.
Like I said, I doubt he's the main target but if he is then I'm absolutely fine using a bit of imagination.

It's going after a known gobshite which boils my piss.

This is so exciting!  Rumours, red herrings,  you don't know what to to believe.  Like an episode of 3-2-1.   Lets hope we don't end up with Dusty Bin.

I don't know much about his managerial career, so won't throw him to the wolves without exploring the option. I'd rather him than McCarthy. I'd rather take a chance on someone who may or may not be a success than someone who will definitely fail.
