You used to sell the Mail from a box you mean.
I think somebody is indeed pulling your plonker.

Never underestimate the stupidity of our board.

nothing connected to the bedlam that is aston villa would surprise me. I can just see mad mick polishing those equine size teeth now in readyness for the photoshoot - you know, the one we always get whenever anyone is signed. That's it, holding the shirt up with No 1 on the back and beneath it the legend McFuckwit

McCarthy would be a disaster.

It would be so bad, it'd almost be funny.

There again, it wouldn't.

I pray that someone thanks McCarthy for his interest in the club but lets him know that the club wish to take a different direction. As I said I'm still hoping its a wind up.

If they're even considering a manager who (effectively) relegated a local tem AGAIN then they've learnt nothing. No one could be that stupid... could they?

There is no interest in Mick McCarthy. You can take that to the bank.
I had no scoop on McLeish and that one was a kick in the nads and a shock to all of us (apart from a couple who knew) but this time I do.
I dont know who it will be but it won't be Mick "Fucking" McCarthy.

...there's more chance Shirley Bassey will be manager of Aston Villa with a coaching staff of Elaine Paige and Barbara Dickson.  ;)

Fair play Maz, some people might be a little uneasy in making this sort of statements two years in a row, but not you!

Mate I'm not trying to wind anybody up and I pray to God you're right, this club has been a laughing stock for far too long and to name him as our next manager seems utterly ludicrous.

Hope you're right Maz, because his record for taking Sunderland down and then leading Wolves towards relegation this year should be enough to show what an utter disaster it would be to hire him. It would just be a continuation of Mcleish's disasterous reign.

Just going to say the same bob....just saw their website.
It's going to be a funny week, and 'The Mighty Reds YNWA' haven't helped the cause!

I would have thought the merciless pisstaking the other night was enough for people not to "go there" again.
They've sacked McLeish because he's shit and the fans have no confidence or connection with him. The last thing they want to do is go through that again and gamble the future of this club on the back of an absolute eejit.
