With a good director of football I would go for Paul Clement - he fits the criteria, not a big enough name for some of the fans but as good as anyone else being linked with us so far

Talking of criteria I have not seen any mention of Premier League experience being a requirement this time or is that just a given ?

Abroad what about the Lille manager? How easy would it be to prize a top manager from an inferior league?

Rudi Garcia? Good shout, still only around 48, lots to prove, great tactically and plays excellent football. Don't know if he speaks English though. I'd look in Holland or Germany, lots of good, intelligent, attacking young managers good with young players there, and their English is probably better than ours.

I hope he isn't frankly. Celtic career rules him out IMO

Gonna let us know who you'd like yet, or are you still 'looking abroad'?

i'm sorry but this thread has just been merged with "Next weeks planned protest - not in my name", so that makes very little sense at all. Do keep up.

Last night, when you were wound up something rotten, you said you'd be 'looking abroad' for a manager. Going to let us know who you'd like?

Ahahahaha. Whatever happened to that guy who used to bang on about sub-par Scandinavian players all the while? John Blackwell?

I'd love to read some of his input on this.

Unai Emery, has just left Valencia after finishing 3rd in Spain 3 seasons running with a club who have massive debt and sell their best players every summer. We could do much worse
