not sure there is a current PL manager that would truly measure up as Klanfield's next Grand Dragon but would love it if MON was inflicted on them. Just think of the enterainment value in bobbing around various club forums and watching some other people indulge in internecine warfare. lovely.

Redknapp is a shrewd tip I have to say

At least we don't have to worry about it being our incumbent manager

Don't think it'll be Redknapp, Liverpool's a bit of a commute from the south coast.

With the money they have it's a short helicopter flight. Quicker than his commute to Spuds training ground or White Hart Lane

Although, Maybe Jamie can persuade his dad to go to Liverpool. Harry Redknapp is Jamie Redknapps dad, Just in case you didn’t know that, because Jamie never mentions it when he is on sky sports. ;)

Nick Griffin is now favourite with the bookies for the Liverpool job.

Unfortunate timing. Another club in the market for a new manager.

Dunno Paulie. Could work to our advantage.

If we've targeted say a Rodgers or Lambert, they might be vaguely interested.   But they might have reasoned that they could be better off where they are unless one of the really big positions become vacant- one they just can't refuse.

The Liverpool job still just about comes into that category.  Even if they were to fail, it's just one of those chances most managers have to take. As per Hodgson.

But if the Redscouse fill that position and Lambert and Rodgers aren't in the frame, it adds a degree of certainty about their future options. As it's unlikely that a job as big as the Villa one (or bigger) will be available anytime soon.  And even if it were, Man Citeh, Chelsea, Tottingham and co would most likely look elsewhere.

I can't see them going for any of our reported targets, maybe Rodgers, but i'd imagine they'd go for a bigger name, probably foreign. AVB springs to mind.

MON for Liverpool?

*runs for cover*

I wish. Apparently, according to SSN, Liverpool have approached another PL manager and it's not Martinez.

Bugger, don't like the sound of that. Unless it's O'Neill!

Already? What odds they will appoint somebody before we even conduct an interview?

MON for Liverpool?

*runs for cover*

You'll be unsurprised to learn the identity of one press man who fully supports MON for the Liverpool job.

Ah now hang on a minute.  Steve Clarke. Add Wilkins & Poyet and ship to Villa Park?

The first bit of this is the most sensible thing on this whole thread.. SC is best defensive coach in the division. And just to prove how sensible I am, I wonder how he gets on with Paolo di Canio?

If it's true Liverpool have approached a current Premier Leaague manager, as opposed to Lambert, Martinez or Rodgers it could just as easily be MON, 'Arry, Pardew or even Moyes. As for Dalglish I reckon the Suarez affair was the main thing that did for him. Coupled with his magnificent record for value for money in the transfer market, great league form particularly at home and his deep understanding that he can't treat the media of 2012 like the untouchable Dalglish of the late eighties could treat the media those days.

Reckon it'll be 'Arry or MON for 'The Mighty Reds YNWA'.  Lambert to us i reckon, would love us to go after AVB, just a pipe dream.
