MON for Liverpool?

*runs for cover*

I wish. Apparently, according to SSN, Liverpool have approached another PL manager and it's not Martinez.

Bugger, don't like the sound of that. Unless it's O'Neill!

I don't quite understand why everyone thinks Liverpool will be after a big name.  Of course, their gloryhunting deluded supporters might think it's their entitlement, but footy's moved on a fait bit since they were in their pomp.  Do they actually have any money to back a big hitter and present themselves as a "project"?  I have my doubts.  I'd like to see Martinez go to 'Pool.

Redknapp is a shrewd tip I have to say

At least we don't have to worry about it being our incumbent manager

Yeah we could add Nick Griffin as assistant as well.

Capello

I think you're bang on there. Certainly fits in with the interview Capello gave the other week.

Don't think it'll be Redknapp, Liverpool's a bit of a commute from the south coast.

Martinez to Liverpool is absurd. We are talking about a man who has struggled to keep Wigan in the top flight two seasons running. He hasn't done a Paul Lambert or a Brendan Rogers or an Owen Coyle in his first season. He's just about managed to keep Wigan afloat. He's not good enough for us, let alone Liverpool.

No no. Roberto is destined to manage Barcelona don't you know. It's true, Dave Whelan said so. He'll be using the dippers as a stepping stone.

With the money they have it's a short helicopter flight. Quicker than his commute to Spuds training ground or White Hart Lane

Agree, no way Harry will go that far north.
Praying it's MON, although that will fulfil his sense of destiny.

i'm trying to think of some vibrant managers. Not the first term that springs to mind normally when you're describing them. Is lambert vibrant?

Wee Gordon Strachan?

Apparently he was there on the night Bolton beat us, to console Big Eck.

Sympathise with him and then nick his job.  Sounds about right.

Lambert for me.  Loserpool can have Martinez/MON/Benitez.
