I'd be happy with that, but it wouldn't shock me to see Rodgers enter the mix for Liverpool.

Could be, Risso: with all the egos at Anfield and the pressure of exploiting all of KKK's expensive signings Martinez will find that a big step up.

The benefit - and attraction - of the Villa job is that several of the billy-big-bollox players are ending contracts and the remaining core is young and ambitious.

EDIT: big step-up for Rodgers too.
