OK, season ticket renewal application in the post.  Whoever they appoint, I'm committed.  And if they appoint McCarthy or Allardyce, I think I will be.

If they appoint either of those two, they should be bloody committed!

Chill out! AM was sacked 48hrs ago...I hope the board take more than just a few days to make the right decision on this next appointment.

Also can ppl please stop slagging Randy or PF for betting odds and media links. How can you they be blamed for that or how can you call them idiots based on reports of a phone call to ppl like MM when we dont even know who contacted who or what may or may not have been discussed?

Let them get on with their job and give them the benefit of the doubt...regardless of the ultimate fuck up of appointing AM last season!

What infuriates me is the way Randy and PF are presiding over these betting odds and media links!  The sheer irresponsibility!!!

I must admit to going into meltdown earlier regarding MM but have got a grip now and feel fairly sure a sensible appointment will be made, Lambert is coming to Villa Park I can feel it.

Lambert has been favourite for two days now and has hardly shifted in the market at all.

Lambert just feels like the type of appointment they'll be looking to make this time round.

I have no ITK, but I do I think it will be him

no what i meant was Lambert is now clear favourite 4/9 on, with the next closest Martinez at 5/1 who has been the favourite and was as low as 2/1 at times.
Mcarthy is 7/1 down from 2/1.

so i think there has been some movement to be fair

Don't forget, they apparently made their minds up that there was going to be a change at the Bolton game, so they have had a couple of weeks to make contact with any agents to get a feel of the water so to speak.

Those who replied, "you've no bloody chance" can then be discounted, those who replied, "well let's think about this, I'll speak to xx and discuss this conversation with him" mean we are in with a chance.  So maybe the major groundwork has already been done.

Well that is what I am hoping anyway!!
