AVB has apparently been offered Fiorentina.

AVB has apparently been offered Fiorentina.

Football Weekly were saying he was nailed on for the Roma job a week or two ago.
I’d say that there’s not much between Fiorentina and us (from an outsider’s perspective), so it’s a shame we never made a move.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer anybody? Young, up and coming manager and will have good contacts with Fergie so that we can loan
Young, Chicharito  and Rooney for a couple of seasons while he gets us established  :)

Klinsman could trade Huntington beach California for Aston I am sure!

If his American former Model wife wants to go to the beach, they could get a static caravan in Porthmadog!

For me there are 3 tiers...

(Really want - Cant see it) AVB or Klinsman

(Realistic - Optimistic) Martinez or Benitez

(Realistic - risk) Rogers or KMac & Cowans

Dont want to see: Lambert, Curbishly, McCarthy, Hoddle, Hughton, McLaren, bruce, hughes etc!

Conveniently leaving out Mcarthy and Allardyce I see.  *suspicious glare*

I actually think I woudl be done, went to a few games under houllier and enjoyed myself even though its wasnt the best of teams (Watched us struggle against blackpool reservces for example)

This year I jsut didnt bother, once McLiesh was sacked I was getting back in the zone to watch us, but if McCarthy / Curbishly etc do get the role then I think i will be done until it feels like we have our club back!

I just hope the McCarthy thing is bollocks. Not because i truefully think he'd get the job(no-one is that stupid are they?), but the fact it shows the lunatics who chose AM last season are still fully in control of the asylum. If they'd talk to him then someone like Allardyce must be in the running. Faulkner shouldn't even be there. He oversaw the whole McCleish debacle and didn't cover himself in glory under Houllier. If he had any honour he would have fallen on his sword when McCleish got the push.

Yep, not to sure about how he is doing at the moment but i have a feeling he will become a very good manager in time.

Solkjaer would be left field, but fit the young vibrant and long term vision.

Something about Lambert, the more I read on him makes me a bit reluctant, but we will see.

This whole thing will mean I am able to notice those on twitter that think they are in the know and are not by the time it is finished. AVFCMysteryman on there says Lambert. The FootballMole is saying Martinez and Lambert have both said no. Hmmm.

Just had a text from my mate, Geordie Michael. He says Paul Lambert is having lunch at The Linton Travel Tavern near Norwich.

He's with some bloke with a dodgy haircut, wearing a smart looking blazer.
