Greg, you absolute gullible, bumba clart.

So whom do you think will be arriving? Seriously.. Best its gonna be is a lambert or a rodgers who while are up and coming now could easily be next seasons Coyle

I have just had a text off a mate who works in a well know Mancester hotel.Paul Faulkner has been spotted talking to Alan Shearer. The plot thickens.

Fits in with the 'younger manager' quote from Faulkner earlier to be fair. Hmmm...

That could be nothing, Shearer is the dry cleaning agent for Radisson in the north west. Faulkner was probably just asking him to be sure to get the egg stains out of his tie

From Twitter:
The sticking point with Coyle is that he wants to bring Assistant Manager, Sandy Stewart, with him. Stewart has worked with Coyle for a number of years. Lerner has two reasons NOT to allow Stewart to come with Coyle.
1 - the additional expense with a Director of Football, believed to be Sam Allardyce, would be too prohibitive.
2 - Lerner wishes to keep the established Reserve and Academy set up intact.
This may work well for Coyle who has a keen interest in Acadamy football.
Stewart would be a popular choice as Caretaker Manager at the Reebok. #BWFC #Coyle.

Coyle, now you're talking Greg. Good track record, and he's *definitely* gettable, after that thing with the relegation.

WAIT!

Stop and think now. If we have to wait until after the Championship play-offs then by clever clever decuction the new man must be ...

Roberto Di Mateo, right?  ;)

The more I think about it, the more I like Greg's thinking on Coyle.

He's like Lambert but with more experience. He's been relegated, so knows what's involved. Great profile, he's Scottish, would draw the crowds.

Good call

I like Coyle, and I think he's been unlucky this season, but surely the very act of appointing a relegated manager for the second year running would be asking for a shitstorm.

Unless you're winding us all up Dave.

Greg you were advocating sticking with AM, are you dissapointed?

eh? Didn't want him but i could see doing shit with this team is not really underperforming but par for the course. Yes he did particularly bad, but barring 3 or 4 players, its a shit team and a Mourinho is gonna struggle to get into europe with it, though Faulkner seems to think its possible

Shearer kind of makes sense. Would probably be willing to work with a DoF. I reckon he might be the man to get the best out of Hutton as Newcastle is near Scotland.

Oh bollocks.. MickMac lives down the road. His missus is happy in the local WI..There must be at leats 5 bin ends in the dogheads that will come over on equal pay. It's a done deal. Randy is  local boy and thinks we are even more local than what he is! Welcome Mick, for a year, and all your promising players; on the cheap.

DC5 seems very interested in the Coyle talk and Damon thinks DC5 is Greg. I'm confused. Night.
