Pah, I thought I was going to be first with this bit of ITK. Especially as I rarely post ITK, because unless it's from someone I know has a clue what they are on about I usually file it under idle gossip. However the 2 folks who text me tonight are no mugs.

**shakes fist at DC5**

My boss is beside himself though PWS. They lose Fatsam and gain 'arry. I'm beginning to think that this has real substance.

Randy Lerner has well and truly got the message of what the fans want from a Villa team.  Half of the names posted on here by people just for a laugh or wind up are not even in the picture.

Is everyone suddenly on crack?  Talk of Allardyce and McCarthy?  There's not a hope in hell we'd go for either of these doughnuts, it simply will not happen.

If someone would have suggested gingertwat last year wold you have called them crackheads.

the fat sam link is coming from one of the WHU forums who reckon we might have made an approach, but it all depends on the outcome of the play off final.
cant believe it myself, but most of the W Ham fans seem quite happy if he goes even though they are one game away from the prem.

i certainly will not be going anywhere near VP if that twat rocks up

I'm going to bed.  You lot have lost your bloody minds.  When I wake up I fully expect written apologies from everyone on here for even mentioning Fat Sam and the Villa job in the same thread.  Good night.

Which is why the same mistake just would'nt be made again. It just can't.

From what I have just read in the Guardian it will not be Fat Sam. Is he young, vibrant and someone who will lift the club?
The confusion could be that Sam is DOF with Coyle as Manager. Lerner spoke highly of him after the Bolton game, it has been posted on Twitter.
That actually sounds like a good double act. Coyle's a decent coach and Fat Sam is very clever tactically. It could work.

Assuming the claret and blue link isn't a joke - Eddie Howe at Burnley perhaps?

There are quite a number of managers that I would be happy with this year. It's quite disheartening that in spite of this, I keep hearing the names of managers that would result in me being put on suicide watch.

Can't argue with that, i'm hoping the whole McLeish episode has hurt him.

Sam would see it as finally getting a big club, he would bring in some quality players too I reckon.
