From what i've just heard from 2 different people, one of our targets won't have to buy a new scarf as the colours of his current club are the same.

Interesting.  This was posted about an hour ago.  There could be some truth in this.

Villa owner breaks his silence. 'We are doing nothing until after the play-offs have finished', leading to continued speculation about Sam Allardyce, should West Ham fail to beat Blackpool. 'Popularity with fans is our chief concern.'

You should know by now that Lerner won't appoint a manager that the fans want.He will chose someone that none of us have so far thought of.Frightening but i think thats how it will pan out.

There aren't many managers who, on the back of a season of being served up bucket after bucket of warm vomit by Alex "Great Track Record" McLeish, would actually make going to Villa matches less appealing, but Allardyce is one of them.

Actually, when I consider this the more I think that it has mileage.  I heard that the Porno Dwarf had sanctioned his departure if they lose the playoff final. My boss who is an 'appy 'ammer is a corporate member at Wet Spam and has a box down there. They want 'arry back and reckon they'll get him if Spuds don't make the Champions League.

I hope you're not talking about the vibrant, free flowing Fat Sam.

In fairness, he always does a solid job, and would get us scoring goals again.

From what I have just read in the Guardian it will not be Fat Sam. Is he young, vibrant and someone who will lift the club?

Is everyone suddenly on crack?  Talk of Allardyce and McCarthy?  There's not a hope in hell we'd go for either of these doughnuts, it simply will not happen.

Pah, I thought I was going to be first with this bit of ITK. Especially as I rarely post ITK, because unless it's from someone I know has a clue what they are on about I usually file it under idle gossip. However the 2 folks who text me tonight are no mugs.

At least we might score from a corner. I think he might be a good fit.

If we want vibrancy and feel-good back at Villa we'd be better off hiring a dream team of Charles Hughes and John Beck than Sam fucking Allardyce.

Alladyce?  Maybe Randy just loves hoof ball.  It’s his money after all.  Sigh.

One thing about Allardyce is that he attracts the media. He could work in a BFR-type way.

The confusion could be that Sam is DOF with Coyle as Manager. Lerner spoke highly of him after the Bolton game, it has been posted on Twitter.
