Mick McCarthy? It couldn't be, surely?!

It's not, not a chance. Faulkner has talked about vibrancy and Lerner mentioned compelling football. They realised they fucked up last year, they won't hire McCarthy he is not vibrant, doesn't play compelling football, he was partially responsible for a side being relegated and was last employed by one of our local rivals. There are so many reasons there and all of which they got burnt for last year, not a chance.

Mick McCarthey will NOT be our new manager, he'll end up at Small Heath when Hughton goes to Ulbion

Mick McCarthy. That's a good one. Our board would be stupid enough because they were ten times more stupid last time around. But I just can't see it this time around.

Poyet would be an intersting choice. But if some fans question Martinez and Lambert god knows what the reaction would be like if he were approached. McCarthy rumour isnt even worth talking about. Feel sorry for the morons who have actually put money on him.

Don't feel sorry for them, it'll be Dogheads on a wind up now that they have their Stollen Bakecake.

Who's in the running for The Boggies job, same as for ours?

Has Hughton quit Blouses yet btw?

heard there's been a lot put on Mccarthy today. Not even Lerner is that stupid is he?

I'm convinced it won't be anyone with local connections Greg. They've acknowledged they've fucked up in recent years and they will make this appointment with great care. Nothing controversial and I would bet your house that they are taking much more of an interest in what fans are saying even if they would never publicly admit that.

I heard that.  He just about stopped short of re-opening the Suarez racism case.  It hard a massive impact on poor innocent Liverpool...the heart bleeds.  What a twunt.

Mick Mcarthy is 2/1 with sky bet, why  is the question.

if he is the next manager then i will certainly be signing up to the conspiracy theory that a Billionare Blues fan who nobody knows has bought the club and is taking us all for a ride, there is no other possible explanation

Mick McCarthy is this year's Steve McClaren - a stalking horse that everyone gets upset about.

Then Lerner and Faulkner appoint Steve Bruce to show the fans they're calling the shots.

After PF statement there is no way it could be MM. The markets move very quickly with even the smallest of bets at the moment. We've had x3 different managers odds on so far in less than 24hours
