Football transfer speculation is often compared to darts:-  throw enough at the board and you'll get a bullseye eventually.  In this case I think the Mail just decided to throw a couple of darts in one go.

Interesting bit of insight regarding Pail Lambert on a Norwich forum:

Lambert may be manager of this club, but throughout his career he openly admits that HE is indebted to Ian Culverhouse and Gary Karsa. And why is this - because they are recognised as two of the brightest young coaches in the game, and tactically our game plans are a combination of the three working together which has brought the success in the last three years. Lambert is an exceptional man manager, that is his best forte, so our greatest loss would be the coaches - if of course they decided to go with Lambert should he leave. Lambert HAS NOT taken us to where we are alone, and credit should be given our coaches too!

Let's hope if we do go for him we get the full package and don't repeat the same error we made when appointing Houllier without Patrice Bergues.

Yes he is a Wanker however:

He will use the Youth
He will have us playing nice football
He works well on a small budget
He Isnt afraid of the big boys
He will make us climb the table

I am willing to forget the villa comments for the abve (he was out of order)

Can we please not. I know he's done well at Newcastle and that lot, but I think for our own collective sanity can we look a bit further afield and find a manager that is not linked to that lot. I just want a break from reading "Former Birmingham manager....." at the start of a sentence when reading about us. And I would certainly entertain an up and coming name from abroad. Why should we just be linked to domestic names?
