It's unlikely to be the pitch as we've almost doubled their score without losing a wicket. I would imagine that it's down to poor batting given that they've only managed 16 batting bonus points all season.

They must feel pretty demoralised given that they game was taken away from them in the 1st session of the 1st day and they are now effectively relegated.

I had no idea about the Pears bowling attack in this game. The report highlights the gulf between the haves (the test ground counties) and the have nots (the rest). Another reason why I'd rather be a Bear than a Pear!
