Let's moan about the pitch.

Excellent - now lets put 300 plus on the board and the title is as good as won!

We could get 150 and win by an innings against this lot.

True but 3 batting points would be nice.

46-8!

Both Notts and Sussex have started well in their respective matches so maximum batting points may well win us the league this week.

Wouldn't worry too much about notts as the 28 point gap is too big for them, 22 points here should be enough to see us safe from Sussex.

What a great morning. I understand the batting points, but do we get bowling points?

Yes - 1 point for 3-5 wickets. 2 points for 6-8 wickets and 3 points for 9-10 wickets, within the first 110 overs. So 3 bowling points for us.

Let's hope the pitch isn't too bad and we can put a decent total on the board by end of play.

They are the home team so any pitch problems Worcester will pay the points deduction - they are down anyway now.
