Taking my son to Headingley tomorrow to the 20/20 shenanigans. Only ever been to one hit and run before and said I wouldn't bother again but Billy asked if we could go. I'll make sure I remind him it's not proper cricket.

Having said that i'd still like to see Yorkshire crush the opponents who i've just discovered are Worcestershire.

Sure he'll enjoy it - hopefully they'll give him a 4/6 card to hold up.

Think I was finally won over tonight, really enjoyed the game at Headingley, Yorkshire batted superbly and they were far better than Worcester when it came to fielding, the catch that Joe Root engineered on the boundary was a stunning piece of cricket. My son loved every minute of it and i'm reliably informed he and his mate were on tv a few times giving it the full 'Yorkshire,Yorkshire' chant.

Bears pummelling Surrey at the moment.  We're currently 505 for 8: Woakes into the 90s, Patel nearing 50.  Jim Troughton got his second ton in as many games yesterday.  Great stuff.

Just started the final session at Edgbaston with the Bears needing 7 wickets to win. A draw is on the cards here and it's looks like Notts will draw against Sussex too.

Although things are tight at the top of the table, there's a very real chance that the title will be decided by the two games between the Bears and Notts. The first game is at Edgbaston at the end of August with the return game at Trent Bridge in September. It's the last game of the season and may well be a title decider.

COME ON YOU BEARS!

Yorkshire 213/8 (34/34 ov); Warwickshire 135/2 (21/34 ov)

Warwickshire require another 103 runs with 8 wickets and 13.0 overs remaining
