Solanki leaving Worcestershire for Surrey next year....fair play to him getting a good 2 year contract at 36, still a cracking player on his day.  Suspect its a mutely good decision as we need to rebuild the batting line up and Vik would no doubt of been a top earner so the budget is freed up for next year.

Hoping we can wrap up the last 4 Lanc's wickets now to drag them and Surrey in to the relegation battle!

Lancs all out for 63 against the Pears, giving them a victory by 205 runs.  6 more wickets for Moeen Ali, making it 12 in the match.  Remarkable stuff.

We don't win many! Our last win, last September, was also against Lancs and just as remarkable as this. And we're out of the relegation places.

We're still favourites I reckon. 124 all out... Zomerzet need 271 to win. On a fading pitch, that we could only score 124 on, they shouldn't get that. Hopefully we can take ten wickets in just over two sessions. Elsewhere, Notts are going irritatingly well at 260/6, on course for maximum bonus points if they keep up current run rate. If they do get much more than 300 though it more or less rules out them contriving a result with Surrey.

Patel will rip through them again. Two sessions plus 30 minutes to take 10 wickets. These are days when champions are created.

You Bears!

Zomerzet now 37 for 3, Villa fan Kieswetter and That Bastard Compton holding us up a bit. Notts crumbled to 328 all out so have to settle for 3 batting points.

It's all gone a bit wrong for Bears. Zomerzet now 112 for 3. If we don't break this partership soon, they might even be able to have a bit of a slog and come close to beating us. Piss off Compton and Kieswetter, pair of spoilsports.
