None, we don't have the income to attract the best players (who are then, as luck would have it awarded central contracts). Phew the penny's dropped at last.

What a lad of bitter one eyed rubbish on this thread. Glos held N'hants to 31-4 off 8 Overs and scored 23 off 2 overs. Nothing to do with duckworth Lewis we'd have got 32 off 8 easily at that rate if required.

If you want to moan about unfairness in cricket how about the counties with test cricket getting massive cash boosts ever year compared to those that don't get awarded England games. Glos have very low budget and have managed to qualify out of the group of much better funded counties. It's the equivalent of a minnows cup upset in football.
In all fairness, this years T20 has been ruined by the weather..Out of the 10 games Bears had, they only had 5 'proper' games, of which they won 4 and lost 1, of the remaining 5, 3 were lost to the weather, and 2 were lost ob D/L. other counties also had problems, so it makes it even more of a lottery, its the eqivilent to games in football been abandoned then decided by a pen shootout!!
Hopefully in the proper cricket ie championship, the best team (bears) will come out on top!!

Getting sick of this weather. I see there wasn't a fucking drop in London where Middlesex are surrendering to Nottinghamshire and bollocks up our title campaign. Middlesex isn't even a county, kick em out!

That was aimed at cheltenhamlion, not myself, by the way... in case anyone thinks I've finally lost the last of my marbles.

Weather permitting, do you reckon the Bears could manufacture a win?

Great stuff today by the Bears. There was never any chance of a result, but we managed 400 runs and 9 (so far) wickets to get maximum bonus points and go one point clear of Notts at the top, still with a game in hand.

WE ARE TOP OF THE LEAGUE I SAID WE ARE TOP OF THE LEAGUE!
