Did the weather play a part or did Alex McLeish show up and get a draw?

Lancs batted much better and deserved the draw.

Anyway, another good bowling day for the Bears, Surrey all out for 223 before tea.

Bears set 222 to win, which could go either way. Don't think it'll be a draw anyway.

I think we may struggle, Batty took a 6-fer as did Patel for us. Chopra has already gone.

37-4 and Batty has 3 for 5

It's a recovery of sorts but we really can't afford to lose many more wickets.

Another win in sight ! Only issue for me is the weakness in the top order batting - Westwood as per usual and Troughton who if he was not a decent skipper would not be playing - have we got any up and coming batsmen ?

If we could find a decent top order batsman we'd have this wrapped up by the end of July!
