Good report on Cricinfo:

http://www.espncricinfo.com/county-cricket-2012/content/story/563708.html

Some valid points, we certainly need the batsmen to step up to the plate now. Pity Shiv Chanderpaul is busy this summer, perhaps we should offer Punter Ponting a short-term contract.

Fantastic by the Bears. I know it's too early to start to get excited about a possible title run but...

They could teach our football team a thing or two; only 20% of games drawn so far.

A crackin' win. Well done Bears.
I've always rated Barker  ::) (please don't check last years Bears thread)

In a similar vein, I thought the choice of Graeme Welch as bowling coach was particularly uninspiring. Give him his due the bowling attack has been pretty damned good so far.

You Bears!

And that's without a ball being bowled by Woaksey yet.

Or Rankin, who'll be crucial if the pitches get a little flatter.

I'd love Punter to roll up for the last 4 or 5 CC games.

And a win in the 40 over stuff against Northants today. Bell once again on form.
Starting to look like a good season.

He has asked to play for The Lions against the Windies.

I think Bell was picked for the Lions due to an injury bigad.
