So who will take over at Warwickshire now? I always thought Andy Moles was a shoe in one day, maybe now is the time?

EDIT - Although looking at his CV, a couple of "disagreements" with senior players and a couple of "disagreements" with boards doesn't bode we'll

Aww, I've met him and he was wearing a Villa shirt at the time (played in a Villa old stars team).

Dermot Reeve? How about Nick Knight? I do like Dougie though. He worked in the PE department at my school over the winter a few times and was a real nice fella.

Dermot Reeve? Is he leaving the bottle alone?

Reeve has been media-based since his retirement, an absence for cocaine newspaper expsose aside. Knight has worked soley in the media since he retired. Dougie is a Bear through and through, will have the respect of the players and can move the club forward in line with long-term plans.

Unless a coach of some experience is available or Ricky Ponting fancies a shot I'd give it to Dougie.

Dougie Brown for me, he once helped my brother stop a shoplifter at Selly Oak Sainsburys, top lad!

I too believe it will be Dougie but dont discount Graeme Welch. I'm sure Ashley will have some input.....it needs to be a 'bear' of some repute.....that seems to be our way now after the choices of people like Greatbach in the past.

Probably not now that Patel has signed on again as overseas player.
