Has a team ever won anything by winning less than half of their matches?

I think you'll find that the poor summer weather has played havoc with the domestic cricket this year. The Bears were well placed to beat Sussex twice but for the rain interruptions although it did come to their rescue against Middlesex.

I think Warwick overachieved in the Championship last year. I think we'll finish around mid table this year.

More than capable of putting good runs together in the one day stuff.

I won't rely on yourself in the betting stakes! This Bears squad is capable of winning the tiltle for a couple more seasons yet at least. Giles is a genius plus Graeme Welch with his Bowling coaching

Personally I'd like to see the Bears challenge in the Championship and have a decent season in the one day format. We seem to be able to manage either or in a season but not both.

My predictions were pretty good!

Boyd Rankin now out for six weeks, but on the bright side Woakes reckons he'll return by the end of April, so not as bad as first feared.

Mid-table in the championship, mid-table in the Pro40, losing Twenty20 Quarter-Finallists, I reckon.

Useless predictions from me.

Could you imagine this ever happening in football - villa thrashing blues to win the PL sending them down at the same time. The stuff of dreams.
That really is pathetic, I didnt know there was a 'football styled' hatred between warwick and worcester...wrong sport mate.

Congratulations to Warwickshire for clinching the title, fully deserved, and good luck for the final  next week.

(from a gutted pear)!!

Just to throw a spanner in the one dayer works....
Come on Hampshire...!! Underestimate us at your peril.
(my cricket was learned down here in the south so you'll have to forgive the act of treason!)

I did warn you....great game, well done Hampshire....good day all round, for me ;-)

1 and a half trophies for the Bears this season (i'm ignoring the stupid fewer wickets rule)

Great season.
